Google Pixel and Pixel XL released last year which is still good to use over some other flagships released this year. AndroidPolice claimed that the image you see below is the most accurate representation of the Pixel phone we all are expecting to see this year. They also added Google is going to use the codename “taimen” for the next pixel.
This rumor is 80% accurate as AP claimed. As we have seen before that the actual phone when it comes out looks way better than rumored one.
This image showing the larger pixel device. AP doesn’t have any information about the junior one.
The rear panel of the next “taimen” is curved like the last year’s XL, though perhaps with sharper corners this year. The fingerprint scanner now positioned below the glass of the phone’s back panel. The bezels of the last year’s model have disappeared with narrower borders at the top and bottom. The phone here looks extensively smaller than its predecessor.
LG is making Pixel XL this year. Moving to the front, we catch the game-changer: an AMOLED 6-inch display made by LG. The display we are looking at representing the current trending 18:9 aspect ratio. Seems this year Google focusing a lot on ergonomics.
Here you can see a very wide speaker grille located in the top bezel. The speaker will be “stereo” one this time which will provide sound like the selling point of HTC phones. Any official date of announcement is still not known. In fact, we don’t even have any information about the smaller Pixel phone.
